Nordic MarTech · Impact
3% of net profit, every year. Traceable to the receipt.
Each financial year Nordic MarTech gives away 3% of its net profit, split equally three ways: 1% to The Ocean Cleanup, 1% to Pencils of Promise, 1% to charity: water.
This page shows how the figure is worked out and how anyone can check it. The commitment starts with the 2026 financial year.
Example figures — real figures published January 2027
Split equally, 1% each · donations only, no partnership or endorsement implied.
Net profit for the financial year
× 3%
= the amount given, divided equally between three recipients, 1% each.
€250,000net profit for one year — hypothetical
€7,500given in total — €250,000 × 3%
€2,500to each recipient — €250,000 × 1%
A hypothetical €250,000 net profit, used only to show the arithmetic. It is not Nordic MarTech's result, not a target and not a forecast. The ratio is the same at any size: €300 for every €10,000 of net profit, €100 of it to each recipient. If a financial year closes at a loss, 3% of that is nothing, and this page will say so rather than quietly skip the year.
What net profit means here
Net profit is the profit for the year, as reported in the business income statement filed with the Norwegian Tax Administration, before personal tax and owner drawings. That is the same figure the Norwegian tax authority receives, so the percentage is taken from a number that was not chosen for this page.
Nordic MarTech is a sole trader registered in Norway, organisation number 936 289 835. A business this size has no statutory auditor, so nothing here is described as audited. What is offered instead is the receipt.

How to check it
01The amount sent to each recipient, in euros, with the date.
02The transaction reference and the receipt from that organisation, published here as a file you can open.
03The 3% calculation, shown as the arithmetic rather than a total.
04The net profit figure it was taken from, and the filing it came from.
Client names, invoices and operating costs are not published. The point is that the money arrived where it was said to arrive, not that anyone can read the books.
Dates, and what the figures mean when they land
First week of January 2027. The 2026 books are closed and the first set of real figures replaces the examples on this page. They are preliminary at that point: the books are closed but the tax filing is not yet in.
By 31 May 2027. The business income statement is filed with the Norwegian Tax Administration. If the final profit for the year differs from the January figure, the number on this page is corrected and the correction is shown rather than overwritten.
There is no live counter on this page and there will not be one. A running total implies money has moved when it has not.
